More elbow, leg room? Invesco has it

Go ahead. Spread out.

Invesco Field at Mile High was, of course, designed with big crowds in mind. So everything from the width of the concourses to the width of the seats is bigger.

The new stadium might have only two more seats than old Mile High Stadium did, but that's where the size and scale similarities end.

Designers created 1.8 million square feet of space.

Enough room to pull tractor-trailers into the basement level for unloading.

Enough room to triple the size of the Broncos locker room and even give the Broncos' cheerleaders their own space.

While fans will likely never see those particular spacious parts of the building, there's a lot of elbow room visitors can use. Concourses where fans can find concession stands and restrooms are nearly three times as wide as the Broncos' old stomping grounds.

The number of women's restrooms has tripled and men's have doubled, making it seem as if there is a restroom every 10 feet.

Navigating the stadium is also easier, though the extra distances take some getting used to.

Eight escalators and eight elevators will take elderly and disabled fans to any level. Ramps on all four corners of the building also provide access to every level.

Inside the bowl, the side space between each seat and the space to the front has been increased, and every seat has been outfitted with its own holder for a cup, program and pen, plus a hanger for binoculars.
