Transients' bodies identified

Two men discovered beaten to death underneath a loading dock north of Coors Field have been identified through fingerprints, police said Wednesday.

They were George W. Worth, 62, and Donald E. Dyer, 51. Witnesses called police after finding the two Tuesday morning in the 2400 block of Blake Street. Detectives said they believe the victims were transients and both were beaten with a blunt object.

Detectives said they believe the men were killed between 10 p.m. Monday and 1 a.m. Tuesday.
