-MARVIN DALE, 80, of Montrose died Dec. 31. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Grand View Cemetery. Mr. Dale was born in Ray County, Mo., on Jan. 7, 1920. He married Doris Groves, 1983. He served in the Army. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife; sons Marvin of Georgia, Mark of Utah; daughters Kay Grantham of Nevada, Pat Whitman of Littleton, Anita Dowden of Utah; numerous stepsons and stepdaughters; brother Milton of Missouri; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

-MARGARET F. DALTON, 71, of Littleton died Dec. 26. Services were Dec. 31, with burial at Littleton Cemetery. Mrs. Dalton was born in Aberdeen, S.D., on July 5, 1929. She married Howard Dalton, 1946, and Floyd Wilson, 1995. She was a former owner of Magic Comb and Carousel beauty shops. Survivors include sons Duane of Denver, Kenneth of Montana; daughter Jowanna Rehberg of Englewood; brother Duane Gray of Arkansas, Malcolm Gray of Wyoming; sister Gladine Hanks of Denver; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

-LONNIE DEATON, 67, of Lakewood died Dec. 27. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, at Bear Valley Christian Church, 6800 W. Hampden Ave. Mr. Deaton was born in Middletown, Ohio, on Sept. 7, 1933. He married Anita Apodaca, 1962. He served in the Army in the Korean War. He was a concrete worker. Survivors include his wife; daughter Andrea of Englewood; sons Carl Terry Jr. of Denver, Duncan L. Terry of Georgia; five grandchildren.

-LARRY RICHARD GILSTRAP, 60, of Denver died Dec. 26. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Gilstrap was born in Wray on March 31, 1940. He married Deanna Smith, 1959, deceased, and Terrie Kreideweis, 1992. He retired from the Denver sheriff's department. Survivors include his wife; mother Beulah of Denver; daughters Sondra Cluck of Nebraska, Michaela Miles of Thornton, Kimberly of Missouri; sons Richard of Lakewood, John of Denver; brother Raymond of Texas; sisters Barbara Jordan of Lakewood, Doris Short of Westminster, Carol Hall of Arizona, Margaret Miller of Indiana, Judy Briones of South Dakota; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

-BILL HIER, 76, of Phoenix, formerly of Sedalia, died Jan. 1. Services were Jan. 5. Mr. Hier was born in Sedalia on Oct. 24, 1924. He married Mary Seidensticker, 1948. He ran a cattle operation and was a horseman, cattleman, roper and dog trainer. Survivors include his wife; son Pete; daughter Patty Bell; sisters Minnie Wyatt and Margaret Gammon, all of Castle Rock; four grandchildren.

-ARNOLD L. KAUTZ, 85, of Englewood died Dec. 30. Services were Jan. 5, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Kautz was born in Geneva, Ill., on June 21, 1915. He married Dorothy Loughlin. He was a cabinetmaker. Survivors include sons Albert of Castle Rock, Richard Read of Aurora, William of Littleton; daughter Jodie Johnson of Englewood; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

-ARLENE I. KIRK, 70, of Denver died Dec. 29. Services were Jan. 3. Mrs. Kirk was born in Omro, Wis., on May 15, 1930. She married Gerald Smith, 1957. She was an elementary school teacher in Boulder Valley Public Schools. Survivors include daughters Julie Bender and Jana Battiato of Westminster, son Bradley Smith; sisters Vicki Doehling of Washington, Marcie Apps of Wisconsin; brother Robert Kirk; four grandchildren.

-LELA A. VAN LOON, 86, of Lakewood died Dec. 29. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Van Loon was born in Devils Tower, Wyo., on March 4, 1914. She married Edward Van Loon, 1936. She was a homemaker and foster parent for 27 years. Survivors include daughters Sandi Robben, Cindi Wallace, Claudia, all of Lakewood; a granddaughter.

-MARTHA GENEVIEVE MCCUBBIN, 91, of Broomfield died Dec. 27 in Boulder. Services were Dec. 30, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. McCubbin was born in Denver on Feb. 22, 1909. She married John Fisk, deceased, and Lester McCubbin, 1963. She was a homemaker and a union underwriter for Rocky Mountain Farmers Union. Survivors include son Vince of Broomfield; daughter Linda Burton of Wyoming; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

-RUBY JEAN MONTOYA, 74, of Denver died Dec. 22. Services were Dec. 28. Mrs. Montoya was born in Clay Center, Kan., on Oct. 28, 1926. She married Emilio Montoya, 1967. She was a waitress. Survivors include her husband; stepson Sam Aqulua; sisters Jenny Rudy, Irene Sasser, Opal Palmer, Iris Peterson, Rosalee McClurg; brother Merle Sturdivan; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.

-JERRET AND JORDAN NELSON, infants, of Brighton were born and died Dec. 9 in Denver. Services were Dec. 15, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery. Survivors include parents Rusty and Michelle, both of Brighton; brother Jacob of Brighton; sister Jamie of Brighton.

-ROBERT CLARENCE NELSON, 81, of Evergreen died Dec. 29. Services were private. Mr. Nelson was born in St. Paul, Minn., on Aug. 7, 1919. He married Hazel Erickson, 1943. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II. He worked in direct marketing of heavy equipment and sold real estate. Survivors include his wife; sons Gregory and David of Evergreeen, John of Mancos, Scott of Lakewood; sister Arlene Heinz of Minnesota; five grandchildren.

-HELEN IRENE OHLSON, 95, of Kiowa died Dec. 30. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Elizabeth Cemetery. Mrs. Ohlson was born in Westboro, Iowa, on May 30, 1905. She married Carl Ohlson, 1924. Survivors include son Wendell of Kiowa; daughter Lorraine Short of Cañon City; seven grandchildren.

-ZONA PRESTON, 72, of Northglenn died Dec. 30. Mrs. Preston was born in Westphalia, Kan., on Sept. 16, 1928. She married Charles Preston, 1951. She was a homemaker and a silversmith. Survivors include her husband; daughters Shelley and Cindy of Northglenn; brothers James Studabaker of North Carolina, Kirk Studabaker of Nevada.

-JACK R. RICHARDSON, 75, of Denver died Dec. 29. Inurnment was at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Richardson was born in Omaha on Aug. 22, 1925. He was a senior systems engineer for NCR Corp. Survivors include his wife; sons James of California, Barry of Florida; daughter Carrie Edson of Littleton; four grandchildren.

-RICHARD B. SEYMOUR, 63, of Littleton died Dec. 23. Services were Dec. 29, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Seymour was born in Denver on April 23, 1937. He married Maridell Seymour, 1961. He was a retired ordnance engineer at Lockheed Martin. Survivors include his wife; daughters Angela Becker of Highlands Ranch, Pamela of Littleton; mother Edna of Englewood; brother William of Denver; two grandchildren.

-JACQUELINE TANNER, 57, of Aurora died Jan. 2. Services to be held at a later date. Miss Tanner was born in Omaha on Sept. 27, 1943. She was a registered nurse at Columbia Health in El Paso, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Duchesne Academy. Survivors include sisters Mary Stawinski of Aurora, Michelle of Denver; brother John Jr. of Nebraska.

-ROBERT O. TENNANT, 95, of Denver died Dec. 30. Services were Jan. 4, with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Tennant was born in Gary. He married Saloma Blackburn, 1947. He served in the armed forces. Survivors include daughters Jeannie Evans, Peggy Winkleblack, both of Denver, Patty Langley, Kay Hickey, both of California, Mary Jo LaPlante of Washington; brother Tom of Wheat Ridge; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.

-IRA J. TOWNE, 90, of Arvada died Dec. 26. Services were Jan. 2, with burial at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Towne was born in Waldron, Mich., on Aug. 24, 1910. He married Bertha Edinger, 1933. He was an appliance service technician. He was a member of Mesa Hills Community Church. Survivors include daughters Jean Stevens of Oregon, Gloria Groves of Arkansas; son Gordan of Arvada; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

-WILLIE B. ''LYDIA'' VAUGHN, 92, of Littleton died Dec. 15. Services were Jan. 5, with burial at Hampden Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hobson was born in Stewart, Miss., on March 15, 1908. She married Hobson Vaughn, 1938. She was a seamstress. Survivors include daughter Ida York of Littleton; brother Johnnie Peacock; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

-JOSEPH E. WHITE SR., 83, of Denver died Dec. 29. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mr. White was born in Belleview, Pa., on Oct. 9, 1917. He married Frances White, 1942. He was a retail food clerk. Survivors include his wife; sons Joseph Jr. of Denver, Richard White of Arizona; brother Hugh of Arizona, Helen Frantz of Denver; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

-ROSE MARIE ZINNEN, 69, of Aurora died Dec. 6. Services were Dec. 11, with inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mrs. Zinnen was born in Gary, Ind., on July 29, 1931. She married John Zinnen. She was a supervisor at Club Demonstration Services Inc. Survivors include daughter Snadra Christensen of Parker; son David of Aurora; sister Darlene Kostka of Aurora; four grandchildren.
