-V. JEANNE BROWN, 71, of Arvada died Dec. 25. Services were Dec. 29. Mrs. Brown was born in Yuma on Aug. 23, 1929. She married Lawrence Brown, 1947. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband; daughters Gloria Boscia of Arvada, Barbara Brown of Golden; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

-JOANN CAMPBELL, 70, of Tempe, Ariz., formerly of Denver, died Dec. 29. Miss Campbell was born in Denver. She was a teacher.

-WESLEY F. CHRISTIAN, 64, of Aurora died Dec. 29. Services were Jan. 4, with burial at Fairmount Cemetery. Mr. Christian was born in Grabill, Ind., on June 20, 1936. He married Patricia McCune, 1958. He served in the Marine Corps Reserve. He was an instructor for United Airlines. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Survivors include his wife; daughter April Morehouse of Texas; brother Norman of Ohio; sisters Sylvia Stimpfle, Thelma Ewell, both of Florida, Carol Nay of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren.

-MEAGHAN KATHLEEN MAVOURNEEN GALLAGHER, 19, of Denver died Dec. 30. Services were Jan. 4. Ms. Gallagher was born in Aurora on June 17, 1981. She was a student at Regis University and was a McTeggart Irish Step Dancer and actress. Survivors include parents Dennis of Denver and Joanne of Fort Collins; brother Daniel of Denver; grandmother Ruth Froling.

-ALBERT RAYMOND GARCIA SR., 75, of Denver died Dec. 22. Services were Dec. 29, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Garcia was born in Clayton, N.M., on Aug. 31, 1925. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenters Union. Survivors include daughters Nancy Hernandez of Denver, Desiree and Joyce of Denver; son Albert of Denver; brothers Steve of Lakewood, Johnny of Denver; sisters Mary of Denver, Julia Aragon of Brighton; 12 grandchildren.

-FRANCES E. GARCIA, 77, of Denver died Jan. 1. Services were Jan. 6, with burial at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Garcia was born in La Veta on Feb. 17, 1923. She worked at Hostess Foods. Survivors include sisters Martina Coca and Elva Galvan of Denver.

-MICHAEL A. GIBSON, 64, of Aurora died Dec. 30. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Fairmount Cemetery. Mr. Gibson was born in Tucson on Sept. 13, 1936. He was a taxi driver. Survivors include son Michael of Aurora; father Jerry of North Carolina; brothers Chris of North Carolina, Linda of Georgia.

-GERALDINE A. HORTON, 69, of Westminster died Dec. 31. Mrs. Horton was born in Denver on April 6, 1931. She married Howard Horton, 1967. She was a pension clerk at US West. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers, Westminster Elks and Eagles. Survivors include her husband; daughters Cynthia Ryan of Nebraska, Janet Lewis of Fort Collins, Christina Potter of Denver; son John Potter of Denver; mother Blanche Moore of Denver; sister Jane Johnson of Aurora; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

-DOVETA BOND JENSEN, 66, of Colorado Springs died Dec. 20. Services were Dec. 26, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mrs. Jensen was born in Denver. She married Frank Jensen, 1953. She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha. Survivors include daughters Sharon of Colorado Springs, Sandra French and Linda Garman of Texas; son Todd of Florida; sister Betty Turetsky of Lakewood; brother Charles Bond of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

-SADYE LIPSON, 90, of Aurora died Dec. 26. Services were Dec. 27, with burial at Mount Nebo Cemetery. Mrs. Lipson was born in Denver on Sept. 1, 1910. She married Milton Lipson. She worked in clothing sales. Survivors include son Allan of Denver; daughters Barbara Kligman and Lynne Rhodes of California; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

-LEONARD LUND, 79, of Lakewood died Jan. 2. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Lund was born in New York on April 13, 1921. He married Joan Allen, 1970. He served in the Army and Army Air Forces during World War II, and received a World War II Victory Medal. He worked for the Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Shoe Corp. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion 40 and 8. Survivors include his wife; sister Debra Abraham of New York.

-MARY LEE LYNES, 75, of Westminster died Dec. 28. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Lynes was born in Mobile, Ala., on Dec. 4, 1925. She married Murray Lynes, 1946. She was a secretary. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Alpha Eta Sorority. Survivors include her husband; daughter Vickie Maniscalco; son Mark of Florida; five grandchildren.

-CLETO E. MARTINEZ, 78, of Englewood died Dec. 31. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at St. Cajetan's Catholic Church, 299 S. Raleigh St., with burial at Arvada Cemetery. Mr. Martinez was born in Watrous, N.M., on Aug. 13, 1922. He married Lilliam Gomez, 1943. He was an automotive mechanic. Survivors include his wife; sons Russel, Larry, Ronnie, Marion, Eddie, Donald; daughters Annette Coranado, Laura, Beverly Baros-Deceasso; brother Tony; sisters Jean Little, Clara.

-SUSIE KATHERINE MATSON, 89, of Limon died Jan. 3. Services were Jan. 5, with burial at Arvada Cemetery. Mrs. Matson was born in Red Willow, Neb., on Aug. 16, 1911. Survivors include son Donald Jr. of Arvada; brother Harold Smith of Grand Junction; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

-LYNN L. RHEA, 79, of Broomfield died Jan. 2 in Louisville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St., Thornton. Mr. Rhea was born in Sawyer, Kan., on Feb. 28, 1921. He married Jo Rhea, 1941. He was retired. He was a member of Eagles Club No. 459 Bomber Group. Survivors include his wife; son Jerry of Broomfield; daughter Sheri McCoy of Broomfield; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

-JACKIE MAXINE ROBINSON, 84, of Westminster died Dec. 31. Services were Jan. 5, with burial at Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Robinson was born in McCook, Neb., on Jan. 8, 1916. She married Tommie Robinson, 1947. She was a restaurant hostess and waitress. Survivors include two nephews; two cousins.

-LINDA F. RODRIGUEZ, 50, of Lakewood died Dec. 31. Services were Jan. 5, with burial at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Rodriguez was born Linda Cox in San Francisco on Sept. 12, 1950. She married Richard Rodriguez, 1967. She was a manager's assistant. Survivors include her husband; daughter Christina Martinez of California; son Thomas of California; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

-HOWARD WAYNE ''THE DUCK'' SCHWEIZER, 51, of Lafayette died Jan. 2. Services were Jan. 6, with burial at Erie Cemetery. Mr. Schweizer was born in La Junta on March 30, 1949. He married Barbara Bailey. He was self-employed as a volunteer for various nonprofit organizations. He was a member of the Baptisit Church. Survivors include son John of South Dakota; daughter Sally Jo Vlaminck of Minnesota; mother Lola McCleskey of Lafayette; brothers Dennis McCleskey, Delbert and Ronald of Brighton; sister Judy Snyder of Lafayette; five grandchildren.

-BROOKS C. SMITH JR., 85, of Thornton died Dec. 26. Services were Jan. 2, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born in Burlington, Iowa, on Jan. 31, 1915. He married Mary Spero, 1962. He was a food service general manager. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1. Survivors include son Steve of Denver; brother Jeremy Smith of New York.

-HAROLD B. STAPP, 85, of Westminster died Jan. 1. Mr. Stapp was born in Newton, Kan., on Aug. 18, 1915. He married Eleanor Smythe, 1992. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a carpenter. Survivors include his wife; stepsons Larry Johnson of Broomfield, Lewis Johnson of South Carolina; stepdaughter Sareda Johnson of Broomfield, Judy Johnson of South Carolina; four step-grandchildren.

-WILMA L. STOOPS, 91, of Westminster died Dec. 30. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Stoops was born in Yorktown, Iowa, on March 3, 1909. She married Charles David, 1955. She was retired from Keebler. Survivors include four nephews; a niece.

-HUGH H. TRUSSELL, 79, of Aurora died Dec. 31. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Trussell was born in Plainview, Texas, on Aug. 3, 1921. He married Vera Snelson, 1950. He served in the Army and received three Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. Before retiring, he was a vice president and engineer at General Corrosion Services. He was a member of Lions Club and Corrosion Engineers. Survivors include his wife; daughter Nancy Osmundson of Kentucky, Paulette Burkham of New Mexico; sisters Billie Craig and Marybeth Calloway of Texas; six grandchildren.

-MARION H. VARDAMAN, 63, of Wheat Ridge died Dec. 22. Services were Dec. 28. Mrs. Vardaman was born in Page County, Iowa, on Dec. 29, 1937. She married Barbara Howard, 1959. She was a project manager for Stearns, Roger and Vero Rocky Mountain Inc. Survivors include his wife; sons Curtis of Broomfield, Craig of Alaska; daughter Kristen of Lakewood; three grandchildren.

-WILLIE B. ''LYDIA'' VAUGHN, 92, of Littleton died Dec. 31. Services were Jan. 5, with burial at Hampden Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hobson was born in Stewart, Miss., on March 15, 1908. She married Hobson Vaughn, 1938. She was a seamstress. Survivors include daughter Ida York of Littleton; brother Johnnie Peacock; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

-HENRY GEORGE WESTFALL, 88, of Denver died Dec. 22. Services were Dec. 27, with burial at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Westfall was born in Denver on Jan. 17, 1912. He married Beth Kline, 1947, then Dorothy Hanna, 1986. He was a business owner. He was a member of Masons and Bricklayers Union. Survivors include sons Harry of Arizona, William of Evergreen, Edward of Oregon, Robert of Alabama; daughter Dawn Bell of Lakewood; stepson Isaac Lane; stepdaughter Chris Lane; 16 grandchildren.
