He married Louella Campling, 1991. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a retired boiler operator. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and American Legion. Survivors include his wife; sons Jim, Bob, Marty, Mike and Alan, all of Denver; daughters Peggy of Fort Collins, Carol Gillman of Illinois, Cathy Anderson of California; sisters Kay Pueser of Missouri, Issy Hanson of Illinois; brother Al of Missouri; 14 grandchildren.
-LORAINE E. BIRCH, 82, of Aurora died Jan. 1. Services were Jan. 9. Mrs. Birch was born Loraine Elmborg in Omaha on Aug. 16, 1918. She married Will Birch, 1944. She was a motel owner and operator. Survivors include her husband; daughter Kathleen of Oregon; son Martin of Louisville; two grandchildren.
-BEVERLY M. BISHOP, 74, of Denver died Dec. 30. Burial was at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mrs. Bishop was born in Allegheny County, Pa., on Aug. 28, 1926. She married Paul Bishop, 1945. She was an accountant with the city of Alexandria, Va. She was a member of Elks Club and American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include daughters Elaine Emery of Golden, Sherry Brown of Texas; brother Leroy Shuler of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
-EDMUND E. BOSIN JR., 72, of Denver died Dec. 16. Services will be held at a later date. Mr. Bosin was born in Omaha on March 19, 1928. He was an editor of cattle magazines and gun journals. Survivors include sister Priscilla Bosin Ellwood of Boulder.
-FRANK LOUIS CALLINICOS, 74, of Concord, Calif., formerly of Boulder, died Dec. 27. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at Fairmount Little Ivy Chapel, with burial at Fairmount Cemetery. Mr. Callinicos was born in Chicago on Jan. 9, 1926. He married Martha Lang. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a manager for Chevron Oil for 37 years. Survivors include his wife; brother Peter of Lakewood.
-JUDY HUNTER CARPENTER, 86, of Denver died Dec. 9. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at First Plymouth Congregational Church, 3501 S. Colorado Blvd. Mrs. Carpenter was born in Beverly, Mass., on Jan. 16, 1914. She married Lester Carpenter. She was a community volunteer. She was a member of Pinehurst Country Club, Cherry Creek Republican Women and Central City Opera House Association. Survivors include daughter Julie Anderson of California; son J. Dave Hunter of Cherry Hills Village; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
-LOU R. CAVOLT, 100, of Arvada died Jan. 2. Services were Jan. 9, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Ms. Cavolt was born in Cleburne, Texas, on Sept. 9, 1900. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Arvada Covenant Church and Fireside Group. Survivors include son Paul of Arvada; daughters Gracelee Palmer of Arvada, Marylou Turner of Florida; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
-RAYMOND E. CRAM, 81, of Denver died Dec. 30. Services were Jan. 3, with burial at Hampden Memorial Gardens. Mr. Cram was born July 2, 1919. He married Luella Price, 1956. He served in the Army Air Forces during World War II and received a Victory Medal. He was a diesel mechanic. Survivors include his wife.

He married Betty LeCroy, 1961. He served in the Air Force in Vietnam. He was a computer engineer. He was a member of American Legion. -ROSE TORBICA, 82, of Denver died Jan. 4. Services were Jan. 8, with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Torbica was born in New Brighton, Pa., on June 11, 1918. She married Joseph Torbica Sr. She was a home correspondent for the News Tribune in Beaver Falls, Pa. and worked in home health care for the elderly in Colorado. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church. Survivors include son Joseph Jr. of Texas; brothers Joe Speigle, Michael Speigle and Roddy Susjnar, all of Pennsylvania.
