-EUGENE A. FORTIER, 78, of Denver died Jan. 1. Services were Jan. 10. Mr. Fortier was born in El Paso, Texas, on Sept. 25, 1922. He married Florence Hofmeister, 1949. He was housing director for Jefferson County. Survivors include his wife; son Richard of Denver; daughters Dianne of Littleton, Nancy Engleman of Illinois, Ellen Parker of Denver; sister Raquel Mirich of California; six grandchildren.
-TYE WAYNE FREIBERG, 46, of Lakewood died Jan. 7. Services were Jan. 10, with burial at Hampden Memorial Gardens. Mr. Freiberg was born in Denver on Jan. 28, 1954. He married Judy Osvirk, 1975. He was a dental lab technician and owner of Alameda Denture Mat. Survivors include his wife; daughters Shawna of Littleton, Chelsea of Lakewood; sons Joshua, Adam, both of Lakewood; sister Toni Kerns of Thornton.
-RAYMOND E. GONZALES, 60, of Commerce City died Jan. 8. Services were Jan. 11, with burial at Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Gonzales was born in Poteet, Texas, on Jan. 23, 1940. He married Felixitas Alvarez, 1963. He was a construction worker. He was a member of Our Lady of the Mother Church. Survivors include his wife; sons Ray Jr. and Gabriel of Commerce City; daughter Rebecca Brewer of Thornton; eight grandchildren.
-GEORGE F. KAISER, 85, of Denver died Jan. 7. Services were Jan. 11, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Kaiser was born in Platteville on April 18, 1915. He married Elizabeth Depperschmidt, 1939. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; sons Dwayne of Centennial, Larry of Tennessee; daughter Connie of Denver; sisters Anna Heinrich, Emma Lay; brothers Eddie, Lawrence; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
-DOROTHY KRUM, 76, of Breckenridge died Jan. 5 in Denver. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, in Breckenridge. Mrs. Krum was born in Waterloo, Iowa, on Oct. 5, 1924. Survivors include sons Nelson Jr. of Colorado Springs, Stephen of Highlands Ranch, Jeffrey of Oregon; six grandchildren.
-MARLENE LOUISE LaVASSEUR, 66, of Lakewood died Dec. 1. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Alameda Hills Baptist Church. Mrs. LaVasseur was born in Denver on Aug. 1, 1934. She married Robert LaVasseur, 1955. She was a homemaker. Survivors include sister Nancy Carpenter of Littleton.
-GRACE EVELYN MANN, 75, of Lakewood died Jan. 2. Services were Jan. 10, with inurnment at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mrs. Mann was born in Arvada on Jan. 31, 1925. She married Art Mann, 1925. She worked at Fontius Shoe Co. Survivors include her husband; daughters Sharon Horton of Wheat Ridge, Linda Bitterlich of Westminster, Carol Singer of Denver; son Donald Stalter of Pennsylvania; sisters Pearl Lomas, Dorothy Perkins, Shirley Hedenskog, all of Aurora, Charlotte Lucero of Denver; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
-MAXINE MAE MIDDLETON, 71, died Jan. 6. Mrs. Middleton was born in Hill City, Kan., on May 13, 1929. She married William Middleton, 1948. She was a homemaker. -ROSE ALMA PULLIS, 91, died Jan. 7. Services were Jan. 11, with burial at Evergreen Memorial Park. Mrs. Pullis was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Jan. 25, 1909. She married Charles Pullis, 1933. -MILTON R. ROCK, 90, of Lakewood died Dec. 8 in Wheat Ridge. Mr. Rock was born in Holyoke, Mass., on Oct. 2, 1910. He married Jeannette Burelle. He served in the Army. He was a supervisor and inspector for the armed forces. Survivors include his wife; son Robert.

-ELIZABETH SCHELL, 87, of Rugby, N.D., formerly of Denver, died Jan. 6. Services were Jan. 9. Ms. Schell was born in McHenry County, N.D., on June 19, 1913. She worked at Denver Dry Goods Store. Survivors include brothers Pete and Mike, both of North Dakota.

He was a teacher and coach in Littleton School District 6. -VIVIAN PATTY STRUBLE, 66, of Littleton died Dec. 4. Services were Dec. 8, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Struble was born Vivian Mitter in Oak Park, Ill., on July 18, 1934. She married William Struble, 1955. She was a homemaker. -ROBERT B. STUCKY, 75, of Arvada died Dec. 22 in Wheat Ridge. Mr. Stucky was born in Manhattan, Kan., on May 1, 1925. He married Helen June Wise, 1993. He served in the Navy. He was a retired cartographer for the U.S. Geological Survey and worked for the Jefferson County Sentinel. Survivors include sister Phyllis Markos of Florida.
-ELEANOR ''NANA'' SULLIVAN, 80, of Dacono died Jan. 7. Services were Jan. 10, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mrs. Sullivan was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas, on April 2, 1920. She married Herbert Sullivan. She was a homemaker. Survivors include son Steve Howerton of Fort Lupton; brothers Rodney Boykin and Johnny Boykin of Texas, Leonidas Boykin of California; sisters Mary Murrell and Ruby Knezek of Texas, Alma Elliott of Oregon; two grandchildren; a step-grandchild; a great-grandchild; a step-great-grandchild.
