-GLORIA JEAN ALBERT, 58, of Wiggins died Jan. 11. Services were Jan. 13. Mrs. Albert was born in Sterling on Oct. 12, 1942. She married John Albert, 1987. She worked for the credit bureau, Sterling Colorado Beef and KFTM Radio, all in Fort Morgan. Survivors include her husband; son Brian Hard of Wiggins; stepson Bill of Hawaii; daughter Verna Smith of California; stepdaughter Lainie Columbia of Wiggins; brothers Jim of Lousiana, David of Loveland, Jerry of Fort Morgan, Tim of Wyoming, Paul of Arizona; sisters Lucille Johnson, Marilyn Overholt, both of Greeley, Helen Wood of Denver; six grandchildren.

LEWIS J. ALVERSON, 73, of Denver died Jan. 9 in Englewood. Services were Jan. 15, with burial at Eastlawn Cemetery. Mr. Alverson was born in Rockford, Ill., on June 16, 1927. He married Peggy Enney, 1946. He served in the Marines during World War II. He retired as a lieutenant fromthe Denver Police Department. He was a member of American Polygraph Association, Colorado Polygraph Association. Survivors include his wife; daughter Linda O'Brien; sons Jay and Danny; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

-EDNA M. BAKER, 93, of Topeka, Kan., formerly of Arvada, died Jan. 10. Services were Jan. 13, with burial in Lane, Kan. Mrs. Baker was born in Salina, Kan., on Aug. 14, 1907. She married Arlan Baker. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Golden. Survivors include daughters Orpha Pattridge of Golden, Mary Anne Houser of Wheat Ridge; son Donald of West Virginia; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.

-DONALD WEST BEAVER, 58, of Denver died Jan. 10. Services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 2227 S. Colorado Blvd. Mr. Beaver was born in Tallahassee, Fla., on Oct. 10, 1942. He married Eileen Harnett, 1976. He was a geohydrologist. Survivors include his wife; mother Jean of Denver; daughter Erin of Denver; son Sean of Denver; brother Randy of Fort Collins.

if0,0-GERALD JEROME BRONFIN, 77, of Denver died Jan. 5 in Newport Beach, Calif. Dr. Bronfin was born in Denver on March 1, 1923. He married Evelyn Sperber, 1950. He served in the Navy. He was a physician for 41 years. Survivors include sons Leon of California, Edward of Denver; three grandchildren.

-DORMAN FRED CREES, 79, of Westminster died Jan. 9 in Denver. Services were Jan. 12, with burial at Highland Cemetery. Mr. Crees was born in Gurley, Neb., on April 18, 1921. He married Dorothy Kinzie, 1946. He was a teacher and elementary school administrator. Survivors include his wife; son Terry of Arizona; daughters Valerie Beveridge, Kimberly Deuschle of Thornton; brother Charles of Florida; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two-stepgrandchildren.

-RUSSELL JOHN ENTERLINE, 84, of Aurora died Jan. 6. Services were Jan. 11, with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Enterline was born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 3, 1917. He married Elizabeth Ann Call, 1945. He retired from the Navy. He was a member of the Navy Fleet Reserve Association. Survivors include daughter Julie of Florida; son Eric of Washington; sister Alice Grady; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

-OLGA ESPARZA, 45, of Denver died Jan. 7. Services were Jan. 15, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Ms. Esparza was born in Zacatecas, Mexico, on May 4, 1955. Survivors include daughters Jean and Elia; son Juan, all of Denver.

-GLADYS S. FERRY, 84, of Lakewood died Jan. 8 in Englewood. Services were Jan. 12, with burial at Mount Lindo Cemetery. Mrs. Ferry was born in Gladstone on Sept. 29, 1916. She married Charles Ferry, 1938. She worked for Mountain Bell. She was a member of Pioneers. Survivors include son Robert of Littleton; daughter Jan Coffey of Lakewood; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

-ARTHUR W. HILL, 88, of Aurora died Jan. 11. Private services will be held at a later date. Mr. Hill was born in Mesa on Oct. 7, 1912. He served as a pilot in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He was Littleton police chief. He was a member of Mile Hi Church of Religious Science. Survivors include sons Art of Kentucky, Chris of Elizabeth, Randy of California; daughters Sherry Buirge of Littleton, Marilyn Bergman of Aurora, Gloria Sung of California; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.

-RUTH C. LOEWI, 81, of Denver died Jan. 8. Mrs. Loewi was born in Berlin on Oct. 3, 1919. She married Roger Loewi, 1945. She served in the Navy Hospital Corps. She was a retired pregnancy counselor at Planned Parenthood, a fashion merchandising consultant and private pediatric nurse. She was a member of American Jewish Committee, Friends of Chamber Music and League of Women Voters. Survivors include her husband; sons Andrew of Denver, David of Oregon; sister Leonore Moss of New York; five grandchildren.

-MELDA A. MELCHER, 72, of Littleton died Jan. 3. Services were Jan. 8, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mrs. Melcher was born in Alexandria, Mo., on Sept. 27, 1928. She married James Melcher, 1955. She was a registered nurse and homemaker. Survivors include daughters Kathleen, Jeanne, Patricia, Donna, Mary and Christine; sons James, Timothy; sisters Anna Miller of Missouri, Elda Deardoff of Nebraska; four grandchildren.

-LORRAINE D. MENDEZ, 35, of Denver died Jan. 8. Services were Jan. 15, with burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Mendez was born in Denver on Feb. 2, 1965. She married Joe Abeyta. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband; mother Betty Guerrero of Denver; grandmother Cora Vigil of Denver; daughters Denise and Alicia Abeyta, both of Denver; sister Brenda Martinez of Denver; brothers Christopher, Leo, both of Denver.

-MARY E. RILEY, 43, of New London, Wis., formerly of Colorado, died Jan. 6. Services were Jan. 13. Mrs. Riley was born in Appleton, Wis., on April 23, 1957. She married Glenn Riley, 1977. She worked at Phar-Mor and Beta Metals in Colorado. Survivors include her husband; sons Corey and Chad of Wisconsin; parents Robert and Marian St. Marie of Wisconsin; five brothers; two sisters.

-CAROL RUTH EBERSON ROE, 71, of Denver died Jan. 8. Services were Jan. 13. Mrs. Roe was born in San Francisco on Sept. 20, 1929. She retired as a secretary. She was a member of Alumni Group Case Western Reserve University. Survivors include daughters Cathy Chism of Englewood, Cynthia of California; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

-MARY ANN SCANLAN, 75, of Arvada died Nov. 29. Ms. Scanlan was born in Hattiesburg, Miss. She was a retail store manager. Survivors include two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

-ALFRED E. TATE, 69, of Lakewood died Jan. 6. Services were Jan. 12, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Tate was born in Denver on Jan. 17, 1931. He married Maryln Mueller, 1965. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a warehouse manager. Survivors include his wife; sons Bill, John, Mark; daughters Sharon, Kim Tate-DeHerrera; sister Evelyn Erhard; brother George; five grandchildren.

-LOUIE H. TENORIO, 59, of Tucson, formerly of Denver, died Dec. 7. Services were Jan. 8, with entombment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mr. Tenorio was born in Denver on Sept. 12, 1941. He was a handyman and a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include mother and stepfather Helen and Richard Tafoya of Commerce City; sisters Betty Lou Trujillo of California, Dorothy Cervantes and Rita Cordova, both of Denver, Delores of Thornton; brothers Manuel Jr. of Utah, John of California, Richard Jr. of Kersey, Clarence Tafoya of Walsenburg.

-VERNON TIDBALL, 68, of Denver died Jan. 6. Services were Jan. 11, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Tidball was born in Denver on Jan. 22, 1932. He married Betty Drumeller, 1956. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from Western Electric and was a home builder. He was a member of CWA Union Local 777. Survivors include his wife; sons Christopher and Gregory; daughter Tracy; mother Alvina; brother Stephen, all of Colorado; four grandchildren.

-RUSSELL L. TINKEL, 70, of Northglenn died Jan. 8 in Westminster. Services were Jan. 12, with burial at Fairmount Cemetery. Mr. Tinkel was born in Pawnee, Okla., on Jan. 7, 1931. He married Shirl Vidmar. He was a carpenter. He was a member of Elks and Moose lodges. Survivors include his wife; daughters Joyce Hess, Debbie; son Michael; three grandchildren.

-ONECIMO ''MAX'' VIGIL, 70, of Commerce City died Jan. 5. Services were Jan. 10, with burial at Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Vigil was born in Sapello, N.M., on Nov. 2, 1930. He married Mary Barbaran, 1985. He was a custodian in the aerospace industry. Survivors include his wife; sons Charlie of Denver, Rudy of Thornton, Conrad Vanegan of Commerce City; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

-LOIS LOUISE WHEELER, 78, of Englewood died Jan. 10. Services were Jan. 13. Mrs. Wheeler was born in Lincoln, Neb., on May 19, 1922. She married Charles Wheeler, 1942. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Christian Women's Fellowship. Survivors include daughters Judith Delmain of Golden, Jane Opal of Englewood, Christine Vitt of Littleton, Barbara of Lakewood; brother Jack Ailes of Nebraska; sister Ruth Bell of Englewood, LaVetta Hellman of Nebraska; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild.

-ANTHONY J. ZIBURA, 48, of Denver died Jan. 5. Services were Jan. 9, with inurnment in Allentown, Pa. Mr. Zibura was born in Allentown on Aug. 30, 1952. He married Beth Morris, 1991. He served in the Navy. He was a meat cutter. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; father Anthony J. of Pennsylvania; stepmother Annabelle of Pennsylvania; daughter Shanna of Denver; son Anthony III of Fort Collins; step-brothers Ronald Schmoyer of Florida, Joe Schmoyer of Pennsylvania; step-sister Donna Wagaman of Pennsylvania.
